At Civilized Citizen, every item is custom-made and produced to order. Because of this, all sales are final. We do not offer returns, refunds, or exchanges.
Exceptions (Our Error Only)
If your order arrives with:
- A production defect
- An error made by us
We will remake the item at no cost.
๐ You must contact us within 72 hours of delivery with:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the issue
Customer Responsibility
All custom designs are created exactly as submitted.
It is your responsibility to ensure:
- Spelling is correct
- Design details are accurate
- Size and color selections are correct
If an error is made during ordering (wrong size, color, spelling, etc.), we are not responsible once the order has been processed or shipped.
Order Changes
If you need to make a change:

We will do our best to accommodate changes before production begins, but changes are not guaranteed once processing starts.
Post-Delivery Issues
If an issue is reported after delivery that is not due to our error, we are unable to offer a refund or exchange.
However, we may offer a discount on a future order at our discretion.

Orders are processed within 3โ5 business days.

- All items are made to order (not pre-stocked)
Once your order is completed, you will receive a tracking number.

We ship via USPS and UPS.
Shipping Responsibility
Please ensure your shipping information is accurate at checkout.
Civilized Citizen is not responsible for:
- Incorrect addresses entered at checkout
- Lost or stolen packages
- Delays caused by shipping carriers
Once your order leaves our facility, it is in the hands of the carrier.
